Info for the Minor
To become a minor in African & African American Studies you need to have an overall minimum GPA of 2.0 and complete one of the following courses: AAS 100, AAS 261, or AAS 280.
If you meet the acceptance criteria, all you have to do is make an appointment with the undergraduate advisor, Ms. Jessie Carter (aasjmc@buffalo.edu), and fill out the Minor Declaration Form. To complete minor (18 credits) in African & African American Studies you need to complete the following program:
